Insomnia
Oh, it's back. Back and better than ever. You'd think with the amount of medicine I am taking that sleep would be involved, but apparently that was just for Sunday and Monday.
Sleeping- not generally one of my problems. Well, to correct- one of my problems is sleeping at night, reliably. My mother always joked that I had a day that just wouldn't stay at 24 hours, but would lengthen until I just wouldn't sleep at all for a few days, then crash.
Turns out there's a name for that! Non 24-hour sleep wake cycle disturbance. Basically, it's a circadian rhythm disruption that causes your brain to not recognize traditional sleep/wake cues (like light). And, there's not so much you can do about it.
Except improve your "sleep hygiene". I have poor sleep hygiene. It sounds like my sleep needs the gym teacher to take it aside and have a private talk about what it means to become a teenager.
