mundane

not much to update. job remains stable and is steadily improving. roommates are lovely as always. it's amazing living with women that can all get along and support each other- i look forward to coming home to our goofy rituals of sharing our days smoking too many cigarettes watching jeopardy and of course- the TyraMonster. No day is complete without mention of the TyraMonster.

Have been spending much time with the boy lately- happy. Making an effort to learn how to interact in a less combative way. Not easy as you well know if you are accquainted with me but I am trying.

Things may be starting to go well in my life, and though I may have jinxed some recent positive developments, I am optimistic that some of the hard work I've been putting in may be paying off.

One resolution- write more. More selfindulgent online diary more social commentary and I'm planning on doing some serious work on the book idea I've had brewing.

a. the return of my actual writing not this navel gazing i've been doing lately
b. because you know these trivial details of my first world problems are interesting- wait, no, that's not true.
amendment to b. becuase you like me and laugh not at me but about me (credit to Belinda of course)
