merry christmas

I've just returned from home, Christmas celebrations. It was wonderful to see my family again, but it always seems so short, and rushed. I feel pulled in a million directions- and I'm not ever sure I'm doing best by each part of my family.

People call me a curmudgeon, or a scrooge- but it's more the perfectionist thing. I want for the holidays to make up for everything I've let slide through the years.

It never works that way.
